Documenting the old industrial sections of Portland is a passion of mine. I like to reflect on the architectural detail lovingly included in this working area. The mold of a window, a painted trim, is the minimal and utilitarian acknowledgment of being part of the aesthetic. The bridge structure stimulates interest through interchanging light pattern and kaleidoscope perspective. The column ribs evoke an embrace, like the strong rafters of a cathedral. Patterns of windows and light complete the opportunities for abstract adornment of this industrial area.
